There are islands off the coast of WA, collectively called the San Juan Islands. They are in the Puget Sound, and lie in between WA, and Canada. There is a Ferry system that allows access by foot and car. The car was in D one day, going around the perimeter of San Juan island. Out the drivers side window, I kept catching glimpses of the mountains, in beautiful shades of blues and purples. I pulled the car, over, and found a spot that I could walk through, leading me to a perfect viewing spot. What a beautiful moment in time.
